I'm a rare blend of creative and technical. I love to create designs that amaze users and then geek out on implementing the latest web techniques such as gzip and image srcsets. I excel at animation that delights and engages users, while highlighting content.
I like a good challenge and solving problems in unique and practical ways. I understand that details are what make great design, that design has power to inspire, and that well implemented code elevates even the best design.
Design, prototype, and develop digital advertising for the Scripps Networks family of websites including HGTV and Food Network. Designed and developed Business-to-Business websites for Scripps Digital branding. Developed and maintain creative preview, management, and database tool. Support other designers, providing design and development advice, troubleshooting, and development of efficiency tools. Support art directors by assisting in QA, design review, general project management, and assisting with managing external vendors.
Designed and developed flash advertising, HTML emails, Facebook apps, and micro-sites. Created branding for local businesses. Designed and developed media kit Business-to-Business website and other corporate websites.
Designed and developed company website, produced marketing materials, designed buildings and produced construction documents.
Founded and maintained a small creative agency specializing in non-profit branding, web-design and development, social media management, and the occasional piece of print publicity.
